Planitherm

Planitherm is a modern, energy efficient glazing system that uses glass coatings to keep internal warmth and absorb heat from natural light. Using Planitherm means that you can have A-Rated Window systems for the same price as a less energy efficient window system.

Installing A-Rated windows can save you up to 28% a year on your heating bills. If you require the most energy efficient windows, ask Simply Frames for Planitherm.

Planitherm glass has a special coating that allows heat from outdoors to pass through the exterior but reflects heat from the interior, this allows for maximum energy efficiency as little or no heat is lost and heat is gained from the sun.

Georgian Glazing

The style of Georgian windows is achieved by placing bars between the glass representative of the Georgian period. This allows for easy cleaning and maintenance.

Georgian Standard style double glazed sealed units with an internal bar to give the effect of separate sealed units. This popular feature is always in demand as it combines stylish traditional looks, with an easy to clean, low maintenance finish.

Leaded Glazing

Leaded glass has a rich heritage and has been a trusted glass feature of choice over many centuries. Originally leaded windows were made of small sections of glass supported in lead cames. With modern technology and improved energy efficiency this effect is achieved by applying the lead to the surface of the glass. This decorative style is still as relevant and popular as ever, enhancing both period and contemporary properties.

Stained Glass

Double-glazed stained glass units are beautiful, handmade, artisan units which combine the skills of lead light making with the benefits of double-glazing,  providing the security and insulation of a double-glazed window whilst retaining the style and visual impact of a traditional leaded light.

We can produce a bespoke design to your requirements, create an authentic reproduction of original stained glass or your existing stained glass can be re-used and converted into double-glazed stained glass units

Bevel Glazing

Often made by creating an angled surface cut around the edge of a thick glass sheet, bevelled glass is mostly used to add a finite finish to mirrors. In addition to the classic and timeless bevelled edge mirror, bevelled glass is commonly sought after for glass door panels, glass table tops and glass shelving too. Bevelled glass mirrors, furniture and fittings are an excellent way to add subtle style to a home or commercial space.

The bevel collection that keeps you one step ahead of the competition. Our range of bevel shapes and clusters has a low profile edge which makes applying lead to your final design easy.
